Introduction

At Masihi.Church, we believe that membership is more than just attending services—it is a commitment to following Jesus Christ, growing in faith, and serving His church as part of the body of Christ. This covenant is a reflection of our faith in the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and our commitment to live in obedience to His Word, love one another, and fulfill the mission of making disciples. As a member, you are joining a family of believers who are dedicated to worshiping God, building one another up in faith, and reaching the lost with the gospel.

Our Faith and Commitment

Our foundation is in God the Father, who calls us into His family and sustains us by His grace. We follow Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has redeemed us through His atoning sacrifice and calls us to live in holiness. We walk in step with the Holy Spirit, who empowers us for ministry, transforms our hearts, and unites us in the bond of peace.

As members of Masihi.Church, we commit to:

1. Growing in Our Relationship with God – We will seek to deepen our faith through prayer, Bible study, and obedience to God’s Word. Worshiping together is an essential part of our spiritual growth, and we commit to gathering regularly as a church to glorify God. 📖 Hebrews 10:24-25 reminds us not to neglect meeting together but to encourage one another.

2. Loving and Serving One Another – As the body of Christ, we are called to love, encourage, and support each other. We commit to walking in unity, bearing with one another in love, and resolving conflicts biblically. We will participate in Faith Circles and other small groups for discipleship and fellowship. 📖 John 13:34-35 teaches us that by loving one another, we show the world that we are His disciples.

3. Using Our Gifts to Serve the Church and Community – Every believer has been given spiritual gifts to build up the body of Christ. We commit to using our talents, abilities, and resources to serve in the church and engage in outreach ministries to impact our communities with the love of Christ. 📖 1 Peter 4:10 calls us to be faithful stewards of God’s grace by serving one another.

4. Living a Holy and Godly Life – As followers of Christ, we commit to living according to biblical values, striving for holiness, and being witnesses of the gospel in our daily lives. This includes honoring God in our speech, relationships, and work, as well as turning away from sinful habits that dishonor Him. 📖 Romans 12:1-2 urges us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God.

5. Giving Generously and Cheerfully – As part of our worship, we commit to giving financially to support the ministry of Masihi.Church, missions, and outreach efforts. We recognize that all we have comes from God, and we give as an act of faith and gratitude. 📖 2 Corinthians 9:7 reminds us that God loves a cheerful giver.

6. Submitting to Biblical Leadership – We commit to honoring and praying for the elders and pastors of Masihi.Church as they shepherd the congregation according to God’s Word. We recognize that church leadership is accountable to God and entrusted with the care of His people. In turn, the church leadership commits to leading with integrity, teaching sound doctrine, and caring for the spiritual needs of the congregation. 📖 Hebrews 13:17 encourages us to obey our leaders as they keep watch over our souls.

7. Sharing the Gospel and Making Disciples – The mission of the church is to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all nations. We commit to being faithful witnesses in our families, workplaces, and communities, sharing the hope of Christ with those who do not yet know Him. We will participate in evangelism, missions, and disciple-making efforts as we grow together in Christ. 📖 Matthew 28:19-20 commands us to go and make disciples of all nations.

The Church’s Commitment to Members

As a church, we make this covenant with you as well. The leadership of Masihi.Church commits to:

Providing biblical counsel and pastoral care to support members in their walk with Christ.

Encouraging discipleship, accountability, and growth, helping members use their gifts in ministry.

Praying for the church family, interceding for members and seeking God’s will for our congregation.

Leading with integrity and humility, following Christ’s example of servant leadership.

📖 Ephesians 4:11-13 reminds us that God has given leaders to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ.
